For doctors & care teams

Patient confidentiality shouldn't depend on
a company's promise not to look.

Clinicians coordinate over chat all day — usually on apps that can read what's sent. Cipher gives care teams a channel where the provider is structurally incapable of seeing patient information, for groups and individuals alike.

Patient confidentiality by architecture

Discussing a patient over a consumer messenger means trusting that company — and any future owner — with sensitive health information it can technically read. Cipher is zero-access: clinical conversations are encrypted with keys only your devices hold, so there's no readable copy on our servers to breach, sell, or be compelled to produce.

On-device AI that never sends notes to a cloud

Summarize a long case thread, draft a reply, translate for a patient — all running locally on the device. Message content is never transmitted to a cloud for AI, which is exactly the exposure that makes most “smart” messaging a non-starter for clinical use.

Private rooms for the whole care team

A ward, a practice, or a referral network can coordinate in a private group — or one clinician to another — with the same zero-access guarantee whether it's a team channel or an individual chat.

Less metadata, fewer records to leak

Even when content is encrypted, the record of who consulted whom and when can be sensitive. Cipher minimizes the metadata it stores, and ties accounts to no phone number — so there's far less to expose in a breach or a records request.

Said plainly

A private channel — not a compliance product.

Cipher gives you a genuinely private place to talk. It is not, by itself, a certified healthcare-compliance solution, and it can't protect a device that's unlocked in the wrong hands. For formal regulatory obligations (HIPAA and the like), pair Cipher with your organization's policies and counsel — we'll be precise about what the architecture does and doesn't cover.

  • Zero-access on message content — no readable store on our side.
  • On-device AI — patient information is never sent to a cloud for inference.
  • Independent cryptographic audit before launch, findings published.

Coordinate care, privately.
